Interesting...Holly, that. Is. So. Sweet. : )
Interesting you mention the 'idea' of this piece, as I have been thinking alot about that. Though I initially approached it with great apprehension, through its process I've become somewhat intrigued with the idea of creating movement. Not sure where these thoughts will take me, but I think I see another Wyoming photo shoot in my future! This is definitely a powerful piece Lynda! The foliage gives it such depth and the warm colors you are using through the dust compliments and gives even more depth to the horses!
I can't wait for the next post!Dianna Wallace Soissonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07829750718847669280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4774545739461667736.post-66033158565047860052011-02-18T08:40:48.536-05:002011-02-18T08:40:48.536-05:00Love. This is such a unique idea, and so well executed - an award winner for sure.hbedrosianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18418836582867720575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4774545739461667736.post-26040704383134067222011-02-18T07:56:53.039-05:002011-02-18T07:56:53.039-05:00Thanks, Cindy and Peter. There was such an extended period of time in 2010 I did not work, given the circumstances, and so I am starting to get excited at the prospect of it being OFF my drafting table!

Yes, Debbi; they certainly feel more planted now as opposed to being floating horses! I'm very excited to be moving on to the last steps, and see how the image pulls together (assuming it will, haha).Lynda Schumacherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05770249962267325853noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4774545739461667736.post-86433518627256330592011-02-18T07:04:39.275-05:002011-02-18T07:04:39.275-05:00Lynda it's beautiful. I can really sense where the horses are now, and almost smell the associated dry terrain that they are racing through. I can't wait to see this drawing in person.Debbihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02593741125120476026noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4774545739461667736.post-45112275453326211122011-02-18T04:53:50.910-05:002011-02-18T04:53:50.910-05:00Linda, this just gets better and better.
