The little creatures that share our world with us our so amazing to watch -- I know you share this same sentiment. xoLynda Schumacherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05770249962267325853noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4774545739461667736.post-48329766096735130132012-07-06T15:27:03.028-04:002012-07-06T15:27:03.028-04:00Teresa; my all-time favorite was the male American...Teresa; my all-time favorite was the male American Kestral......such a beautiful raptor, and much more amazing in real life than all the pics I had seen in books. He flew into a stone wall in our old barn, and I actually thought it had killed him......but as I walked out of the barn with him in my hands he began to awaken (and became increasingly alarmed at his location!), so I threw him very high into the air, and he flew away. : )<br />Hoping you are doing well!Lynda Schumacherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05770249962267325853noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4774545739461667736.post-37477596638753091332012-07-06T15:22:47.395-04:002012-07-06T15:22:47.395-04:00Thanks so much: I hope to focus on photographing ...Thanks so much: I hope to focus on photographing such things more often, as there are such lovely and endearing creatures that pass my way here.Lynda Schumacherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05770249962267325853noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4774545739461667736.post-81128733987087942872012-07-04T14:58:25.555-04:002012-07-04T14:58:25.555-04:00Such wonderful photos Lynda. I currently have a female downy woodpecker who is drinking nectar from the hummingbird feeders like she's an addict. I thought she was super-glued to the feeder the other night - 30 minutes straight of drinking. The hummer got so tired of waiting that she shared the dang feeder with her.Debbihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02593741125120476026noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4774545739461667736.post-22335673682684993152012-06-26T21:15:20.634-04:002012-06-26T21:15:20.634-04:00Lynda, I so much enjoyed seeing the excellent phot...Lynda, I so much enjoyed seeing the excellent photos of some of the denizens living on your farm.Studio at the Farmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02900305750995808779noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4774545739461667736.post-47265668301987863272012-06-26T19:49:01.547-04:002012-06-26T19:49:01.547-04:00Elizabeth, I'm sorry you have had a "dark...Elizabeth, I'm sorry you have had a "dark" day, and am glad the pics made you smile if even for a moment.......as your pics have often done for me!!!Lynda Schumacherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05770249962267325853noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4774545739461667736.post-32965542223984202462012-06-26T17:52:51.048-04:002012-06-26T17:52:51.048-04:00Loved your photos each one a delight. I sat by the food dish and watched him for quite some time, and he was totally unconcerned about my being there. And of course, he was totally clueless as to the danger of his location: he is fortunate that I came along before the cat did!Lynda Schumacherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05770249962267325853noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4774545739461667736.post-64050972405101964892012-06-26T15:23:41.184-04:002012-06-26T15:23:41.184-04:00Beautiful photos.
